Polonyna Yavirnyk from the village of Yamna

One of the routes up to Polonyna Yavirnyk from the village of Yamna near Yaremche. The route is circular, with most of it going through forest. Along the way there are shelters and rest spots. On Polonyna Yavirnyk there are farm buildings, small huts, camping spots and springs. As an option, you can stay here overnight. Note: one of the springs on the polonyna has dried up in summer, and the spring before the ascent to Kruhloiavyrska Polonyna may also dry up. The route then reaches the summit of Kruhlyi Yavirnyk, 1221 m. On the descent there is a closed hunting lodge. From there you need to look carefully for the path down to Yamna: it is easy to follow the yellow route towards Mykulychyn. The path is stony in places, and trekking poles will be useful on the descents. In fog, this section is best done with a navigator.
