To Sivulia via Gorgan

Alternative ascent to Sivulia from Osmoloda via the Gorgan ridge. The route is circular: from Osmoloda, ascend to Gorgan, then continue via the peaks of Gorga and Kinets Gorganu to the Rushchyna meadow. There are convenient camping spots on Rushchyna near the ruins of a tourist shelter, as well as a spring in the upper part of the meadow. You can spend the first night here. The route then reaches Mala Sivulia (1815 m), Sivulia (1836 m) and Lopushna. The return follows the Sivulia ridge via Borevka to the Borevka meadow. There are tent sites and a spring in the meadow, so you can spend the second night here. Alternatively, you can descend directly from Borevka to Osmoloda without visiting Ihrovets-Vysoka. Please note: the trail on the Gorgan ridge may be overgrown with dwarf pine. It is easy to lose direction near the summit of Kinets Gorganu, so it is better to have a GPS device.
