Yavirnyk-Gorgan from Yaremche to Mykulychyn or Tatariv

The route starts in Yaremche and follows the Bahrovets River past the small Bahrovets waterfall. At the beginning there is a mineral spring and a flat clearing for a break. Next comes the ascent to Yavirnyk-Gorgan, at an elevation of 1,424 m. From the summit to the Yavirnyk polonyna, there is a section with stone piles and boulders. It can be uncomfortable with a heavy backpack, so it is better not to carry unnecessary weight for an overnight stay. There are camping spots, huts, a stream and springs on the Yavirnyk polonyna. It is best to fill up with water where it is available: some springs may dry up or yield little water in dry weather. The route can then end in Tatariv or Mykulychyn. Alternatively, walk in the opposite direction from Tatariv — the ascent to the summit will be easier this way.
