About the route
The route starts in Sasivka and reaches the Borzhava Ridge via Vovchyi. At the beginning there is a gazebo with a descent to the water; further on there are a stream and a spring. There will also be a waterfall along the way.
The main part of the hike goes via Mount Zeneva (1365 m), then to Stiy (1681 m), the highest peak of Borzhava. Near Stiy are the ruins of a radar station. After it, the route passes via Velykyi Verkh (1598 m) and Riapetska (1210 m) and descends to Pylypets.
Please note: water may be a problem on the ridge. Some springs are below the route, so you need to descend to them and then climb back up. There is an overnight spot with shelter from the wind near Velykyi Verkh. Lower down, there is space for one tent, but no water nearby. It is better to bring a stove for cooking; do not count on firewood.
