About the route
Ascent to Mount Stoi (1681 m) from the village of Pylypets. The route passes the Shypit Waterfall, then goes via Velykyi Verkh and leads to the highest peak of the Borzhava Polonyna. It ends near the ruins of the radar station domes on Stoi.
There is a drinking water spring near the waterfall. Higher up, there is also a place for a few tents, but the water in the nearby stream is not very clean and is better used for boiling.
Please note. On the section after the waterfall, the trail is narrow and steep, and cyclists also ride down it. Be careful here. Alternatively, you can take the road via Beech Alley.
