Pokutsko-Bukovsky peaks. Kosmach – Shepit

A two-day hike through the Pokutsko-Bukovsky Carpathians from the village of Kosmach to the village of Shepit. It can also be done in reverse. The route crosses some of the highest peaks of this massif: Lysyna Kosmatska (1465 m), Pozheretul (1413 m) and Gregit (1472 m). At the start of the route there are springs and places to stay overnight. A convenient meadow for camping lies before the ascent to Lysyna Kosmatska. Further on, water can also be found near the trail, on the Muncheryk meadow and near the overnight spots by the forest. Please note. One of the tourist shelters on the route is closed, and the hut around the middle of the route is in poor condition. It is better to plan on using your own tent for the night. Before Shepit, the route passes the Shepit-Brustury waterfall Huk, which is 8 m high.
