Lysyna Kosmatska from Kosmach

A circular route from Kosmach to Mount Lysyna Kosmatska, 1465 m. This is the third-highest peak of the Pokutsko-Bukovynian massif of the Carpathians. The hike can be done in one day without an overnight stay. On the ascent there is a swing with a view of Kosmach, and further on there are springs and resting spots. About 34% of the route passes through a mountain meadow where several tents can be pitched; nearby there is a half-ruined shepherd's hut by a spring. The path goes through the forest over Mount Ledescul, 1334 m, and emerges on Lysyna Kosmatska. On the descent there is a good spring by the path, a shepherd's hut without a stove, and a large tree. As an option, the route can be used with an overnight stay: there are places for tents before the summit.
