Crossing the Chornogora ridge

Chornohora is the ridge with highest peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians, the highest mountain, lakes, buildings… This is where one of the most popular tourist routes in the Ukrainian Carpathians passes. Chornohora is also an instant change of weather: from mercilessly scorching sun to cold rain and wet snow. And Chornohora is almost 40 kilometers of high mountain trails, wide mountain meadows, steep cliffs and unique, unforgettable landscapes. In summer in Chornohora you can roast from the incredible heat, and in winter - freeze from the bitter cold. One of the configurations of this route is Start in the village of Kvasy - Finish in the village of Dzembronya. Or vice versa, Start in Dzembronya. From a transport point of view, it is easier to get to Dzembronya and go to Kvass. Transport is not a problem in Kvasy Pay attention. This route passes through the border of the "Carpathian Biosphere Reserve". At the checkpoint between Petros and Hoverla (on the "bridge") you have to pay for the entrance to the reserve.
