About the route
The route starts near the sports base Zaroslyak. Getting from Vorokhta to the starting point must be arranged separately. The trail passes the sources of the Prut, the avalanche weather station and the Dantsezhyk waterfall, then reaches the slopes of Turkul and lake Nesamovite.
There are several streams along the way, so you can refill your water. There is also a spring near Nesamovite that does not dry up. The route is marked, but in fog the markings may be hard to see on the open section before the lake. It is better to have a navigator with an offline map.
Please note. Before the lake, there is a steep dirt section that becomes slippery after rain. If returning to Zaroslyak, you need to follow the same route in the opposite direction.
You can stay overnight near the lake; there is enough space for tents, but it is often crowded here in summer. There is practically no firewood, so a gas burner is needed for an overnight stay.
