About the route
A hike along the Lisniv ridge in the Pokutsko-Bukovynski Carpathians. The start is in Mykulychyn and the finish in Vorokhta. It can be done in reverse. Both settlements have transport connections.
The route goes via Yahidna (1216 m), Lisniv (1257 m), Kunyklyva (1261 m), Chornyi Pohar (1266 m), Horde-Dobrokyivska (1356 m), Klyny (1426 m), Ryzha and Vorokhtianska (1325 m). Along the way there are springs, a small tourist hut and several places suitable for tents. A convenient overnight spot is in the area of Horde: nearby there is a lake, an improved spring and level ground on an old road.
Please note: a significant part of the route follows roads used by jeeps, quad bikes and other vehicles. The surface is broken in places and rutted. Near Yahidna there is an awkward rocky descent or ascent, which is also frequently used by vehicles. It is better to take water from flowing and improved springs: one of the wells near Lisniv is marked as stagnant, and the spring near Horde as questionable.
