Hoverla from Zaroslyak

The route starts near the Zaroslyak tourist base below Hoverla. There is a spring right at the start, and the sources of the Prut are a little further on. Water can also be found higher up on the route, near a spring coming from the mountain. The trail leads uphill to the summit of Hoverla, 2,061 m. There are places to rest along the way. Tents can be set up near Zaroslyak, where water is available. Please note: the route in the track is one-way, so the return from the summit must be planned separately. In fresh deep snow, the ascent can be difficult, and getting to Zaroslyak can be problematic.
